Smokey Reference (2017)

Backstory: Smokey is just your average walking, talking  toon dog...if you consider that average.                            He and his siblings were drawn up by a simple cartoonist, who intended to feature them in a short film.                    However, he wasn't satisfied with their designs, and decided to abandon them on the city streets. Poor Smokey was accidentally separated from his family, left to fend for himself. Over the years, he learned to survive on his own, finding food and shelter wherever he could. After years of torment, he vowed to become a smart dog, find his family, and show his creator that he wasn’t some worthless toon. One fateful day, he ran into Little Shadow, who was shocked at the toon dog’s homeless way of life. He decided to adopt him as his best friend/brother, and Smokey reluctantly went with him. He now lives with Shadow, going to school and learning more than he ever knew before.  He sometimes can’t stand Shadow’s stupid antics, but still loves and tolerates him like a true brother.
